Booking Policies
We want every visit to The Yoni Temple to feel smooth, comfortable, and cared for from start to finish. Please take a moment to review our booking policies before your appointment. These policies help us care for our clients, our team, and the time reserved especially for you.
Cancellation, Rescheduling, & No-Show Policy:
We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. If you need to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to the services booked for your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Any cancelation, reschedule, or removal of scheduled services made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full to the card on file for the services originally reserved.
If you do not show up for your appointment, the card on file will be charged in full for the scheduled services. Your account will also be temporarily blocked from booking, and you’ll need to contact management before scheduling another appointment. Our estheticians work on commission, and your appointment time is reserved especially for you. This policy helps protect their time and income.
Late Arrivals:
We want you to receive your full service without feeling rushed! We offer a 5-minute grace period for services 15 minutes or less and a 10-minute grace period for services longer than 15 minutes. If you arrive late, your appointment will still end at its originally scheduled time so we don’t run into the next client’s appointment. Depending on how much time remains, we may need to modify your service or provide less than originally scheduled. You will still be responsible for the full cost of the services originally booked. If you arrive too late for us to safely perform your service, we may not be able to see you and the full cost of the appointment will still apply.
Appointment Reminders:
As a courtesy, we send appointment confirmations and reminders by text and email. While we do our best to make sure these reach you, clients are responsible for keeping track of their scheduled appointments. Not receiving a reminder does not waive our cancellation or rescheduling policy.
Phone Etiquette:
We kindly ask that phones be put away during your visit unless there is an emergency or it is absolutely necessary to use them. Being present during your appointment allows your esthetician to communicate with you throughout your service and make sure you receive any important aftercare or recommendations. It also allows our Front Desk team to properly assist you at checkout, answer questions, and help you rebook before you leave. We completely understand that sometimes an important call or message can’t wait! Whenever possible, we simply ask that phones stay tucked away so our team can give you the best experience from start to finish.
Children & Guests:
While we adore little ones, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare and do not bring children to your appointment. Our space is intentionally designed to be a serene, sacred environment where both clients and practitioners can fully relax and focus on self-care. For safety reasons - especially with hot wax, sharp tools, and intimate treatments - and out of respect for the quiet, healing experience our guests expect, we cannot accommodate children in the treatment rooms or waiting areas. Thank you for understanding and honoring the sanctuary we’ve created for all who enter.
Service Animals:
Trained service animals as defined by the ADA are always welcome at The Yoni Temple. For the safety and comfort of our clients and team, pets and emotional support animals are not permitted in the salon. We appreciate advance notice if you’ll be bringing a service animal so we can best prepare for your visit.
Clients Under 18:
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present at the time of your appointment to provide consent for the service. They are not required to accompany you into the treatment room, but we must receive their in-person approval before proceeding with any waxing services. Your appointment will not be canceled if your guardian doesn't accompany you the first time but we will need them to sign a consent form before we can service you again.
Card on File, Payment, & Tipping:
A valid card on file is required to secure your appointment, but you will not be automatically charged for your service. When you check out, you are welcome to pay with the card on file or use a different card. We do not accept cash as payment for services. Your card on file may be charged if you miss your appointment or in accordance with our cancellation, rescheduling, and late arrival policies. For gratuity, we kindly ask that tips be given via Venmo or cash- we so appreciate your generosity! If you’re leaving a cash tip, our Front Desk has envelopes available so you don’t have to leave it on the post-treatment table.
Wax Results & Touch-Ups
We want you to leave completely happy with your results! We encourage you to take a moment before leaving your appointment to check your results and let your esthetician know if you notice anything that needs a little extra attention.
If you notice a significant area of missed hair after leaving the salon, please contact us within 48 hours. We’ll be happy to schedule a complimentary clean-up with the same esthetician, based on availability. Hair growth that appears after the 48-hour window is considered new growth and is not eligible for a complimentary touch-up. For more information about hair growth cycles, waxing consistency, and what to expect after your wax, please visit our FAQ here.
